The staff were very helpful and tried to assist when possible. Location is excellent for easy access to the local shops.
That the room we stayed in had a separate toilets to the bathroom. No toilet brush, bin or wash basin in the toilet. Therefore you have to walk through the bedroom to the bathroom to wash your hands. This should be advised on the web site.
Excellent location in the middle of the Route des Vins d'Alsace. All picturesque villages within a driving distance of 1 hour. We visited in Alcase outside of the holiday season and therefore there was plenty of room everywhere. Good food and excellent wines :) Rooms were clean and good breakfast served. Everything in Colmar within the walking distance.
Interesting rooms in this converted factory. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Bed was so hard that I woke up sore in the morning.
After a great deal of difficulty finding the hotel, our room, on the ground floor with parking outside, was perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. It is convenient for the centre of Colmar and the main attractions. Parking at 8 euros was a little high as just outside the gates on the road it was free.Breakfast was ok.
The location opposite a major clean city park was excellent and within comfortable walking distance to Old Colmar.
The signage on the main street was difficult to see.
The hotel room and bathroom was plain, but had all accessories that we have requested. Breakfast was ok, however the self service area is too small and you have to wait in line to get your food and coffee. We have requested parking and we were directed to the underground parking area. You have to be a very skilled driver with a very small car to manage to park there.
Freshly pressed orange juice and freshly ground coffee at breakfast: Outstanding! The Hotel is very well located for visiting the old town.
Situated in quiet block, 5min walk to old center though. Good value for money.
The free breakfast offer poor option for hot food.
* Service was good and they were attentive all time. * Location is perfect, near the city center. * The room where we finally stayed (we requested a change of room) was lovely and the bed comfortable.
* At first we had a horrible hotel room (the 207). The room is perfect except for the ceiling: is made of old wood and all the room smells like it. Also, there is an strange engine at the ceiling (a giant wheel and a iron bar) that gives a horrible appearence... And also looks like if it is about to fall over you! And also is full of dust. At least we could change the room without any problems, and these other one was ok, but don't know about how are the other rooms... * The breakfast is poor.
poor lighting in bathroom for ladies doing makeup .
Reports that breakfast was not up to standard were correct. While there was bread, cold meat,... There was only one variety of each. The coirassants were stale. Fresh juice was great as was coffee machine
Good staff, perfect location - nbthe border of the historical city center.
Convenience, location and parking facilities at the front of the hotel
We last stayed at the hotel 2 years ago and found our room excellent and the facilities very good. This time however there were 3 issues 1. Black fungus was growing in the corner of our shower 2. Our room looked out on to a rather dingy and derelict courtyard to the rear of the hotel which was unpleasant 3. There looked like damp penetration to the ceiling inside the separate wc area. In short our room and the hotel in general looked like it needed further refurbishment and updating to meet the standard of 2 years ago.
no Wifi possible from room hair drier was broken
Typical clean Novotel type room. No surprises.
